Aeroportal to be the main typeface for the Norway profile. The round, easily legible forms of the typeface Aeroportal were inspired by European modernistic and British humanistic traditions, as well as contemporary Scandinavian design. Aeroportal expresses friendliness, simplicity and credibility, and evokes images of waves, motion and travel. Aeroportal is primarily intended for headline and logo use, but its clear and no-nonsense form makes it suitable as a body text typeface as well. The typeface is developed in regular, medium and bold. You can download the font for free at norway.designmanual.no.

Nice, clear design. I’m an amateur font-designer and I’d be mre than happy if I could ever come up with something remotely this pleasant eye candy.

And that it’s even free to download – now that is a treat!

Really like the of aeroportal – but like Jon can’t get access. what user name and password do you put into gain access to the norway site?

The Norway Design manual is a closed web site. The font Aeroportal and the other elements in the design manual is only to be used by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its collaborators.
